Updog Yoga

Updog Yoga offers a unique yoga experience in Tulsa under the guidance of Annie Clark, a seasoned practitioner and instructor. With a focus on wellness, safety, and fostering a sense of community, Updog invites individuals to join their classes. The studio provides heated indoor and outdoor practice spaces, catering to all levels and backgrounds. At Updog, there's no need to conform to any particular ideology or appearance to embrace yoga. Embracing individuality, practitioners are encouraged to express themselves freely, whether through singing, chanting, or exploring various teachings. The studio believes that the path to enlightenment lies within oneself.

Join the Updog Yoga community and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth.

History of Yoga on Boston Ave

In 2019, Claire Ballew hosted Yoga on Boston. It was a massive success, but due to a global pandemic the event took a 4-year hiatus. We are back this year and are so excited to be hosting it for many years to come!

In 2023 Downtown Tulsa Partnership brought back Yoga on Boston and renamed it Namastreet Downtown Yoga. Boston Ave was cleared and we hosted over 100 guests and had a ton of fun. From 5-6 PM, we enjoy tunes by DJ SuperP, along with light food options from Downtown restaurants — cold ice pops from Frios Gourmet Pops and juices and smoothies from Inheritance Juicery. Claire Ballew returned to lead a 55-minute outdoor yoga class, followed with a 10-minute meditation led by Marlon Hall.

It is an honor to bring this event back to Tulsa this year, and anticipate bringing it back for years to come. Bring a yoga mat and get ready to celebrate International Yoga Day!
