About the Festival
In support of DTP’s mission to champion a prosperous, vibrant, and inclusive Downtown, the 918 Day Festival will honor the cultural arts of Tulsa’s many vibrant ethnic and racial communities. This event will elevate the unique perspectives and stories of all Tulsans, engaging them in DTP's work to create a Downtown that is truly everyone's neighborhood!
Chapman Green is a public park in Downtown Tulsa’s business district. The Green is currently the location of DTP’s weekly Downtown Midweek Market and other community programming. Building on the Wednesday Market footprint, DTP will utilize the city streets surrounding the Green for performances and demonstrations by various artists and groups who wish to share their cultural arts with their fellow Tulsans at this inaugural 918 Day celebration.
