Downtown Tulsa Celebrates New Coffee Shop with May 17 Ribbon Cutting
May 15, 2024 — The Downtown Tulsa business community will celebrate the recent opening of Coracle Coffee, 314 S. Cincinnati Ave., at a ribbon cutting in the space at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 17.
Speakers will include Brian Kurtz, President & CEO of Downtown Tulsa Partnership, Laura Bellis, District 4 Tulsa City Councilor, and Tyler and Lydia Duncan, owners of Coracle Coffee. Parking is available on the street or at nearby paid lots. Valet parking is available at the Fourth Street Garage, 123 E. Fourth St.
Coracle Coffee has produced specialty instant coffee since 2020 and recently began wholesaling coffee to other businesses in the area. Its new brick-and-mortar location — a first for Coracle — is open from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 7 a.m.- 5 p.m., Sunday. The shop serves a wide variety of coffee and teas, pastries, burritos and more.
“We couldn’t be happier that Coracle chose to set up its storefront in Downtown Tulsa,” Kurtz said. “Coffee shops like this are known as ‘third places’ — meaningful spaces outside of our homes and workplaces that add something very special to our lives and to our neighborhood. We encourage Downtown workers, residents and visitors to support this locally owned small business.”
Following the ribbon cutting, the community is invited to return to Coracle Coffee at 4 p.m., May 17, for grand opening activities, including music by local DJ Samuel Smith, beer from Marshall Brewing Co. and a latte art competition.
