Leola recently moved to Tulsa after working for 5 years with the
Downtown Austin Alliance. As Operations Manager, she oversees a team of
14 Ambassadors in Downtown Tulsa that work seven days a week to ensure
Downtown is clean, vibrant and welcoming to everyone.
What stood out to you about Downtown Tulsa:
Tulsa is on the cusp of something huge. I am excited for the
opportunity to come here and help mold and shape an Ambassador program
that meets the changing needs of Downtown.
What can people expect from the Ambassadors:
We are here to serve. We're responsive to all Downtown
stakeholders--businesses, visitors, residents, employees and individuals
experiencing homelessness. We strive to be considerate, compassionate
and responsive.
What is the team working on right now:
We're working to raise the standard of cleanliness in Downtown Tulsa.
You'll see the team emptying trash cans, picking up litter, maintaining
landscaping, removing graffiti and more. We're also building
relationships to ensure everyone feels welcome and connected with
Downtown. We have team members on the streets who can answer questions,
provide directions or connect people with area services.
