January Events in Downtown Tulsa as Downtown Days Of Wonder Concludes Season

Happy New Year from Downtown Tulsa Partnership! We hope you had a wonderful holiday break, and thank you to the Downtown businesses, residents, and community members who make Downtown Tulsa shine. 

Downtown Days of Wonder, DTP’s Annual Campaign, comes to a close at the end of the month. However, there is still plenty to do in Downtown Tulsa. Check out the list below of how you can make the most out of January in Downtown Tulsa! 

Tulsa Performing Arts Center: Frozen & Hadestown 

This week, the Theatre Tulsa production of Frozen starts its winter season run. Shows will run from January 9 – January 25, 2026. Dozens of local creatives, actors, and artists comprise the cast, and will adapt this Disney tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and more. 

Next week sees a very limited run of the Tony-award winning show Hadestown. This touring production revolves around two intertwined mythic tales set against a backdrop of a dystopian underworld. The show will run on January 13 & January 14, 2026.

Pop-Up Downtown: 3 Shops to Visit 

Bowlcuts: This pop-up food concept features a variety of fresh, delicious bowls that include high-quality, locally sourced ingredients (thru Jan 31). 

Tulsa Beauty Collective: TBC is an immersive, multisensory pop-up concept comprised of 4 different entrepreneurs selling products including elements of science, scent, dental, and skincare. (thru Feb 28) 

Pop & Create: This creative endeavor is an experience offering workshops and DIY kits for all ages (thru Jan 31). 

Shop Downtown Ends January 10 

Now in its third year, Shop Downtown is a program that rewards customers for shopping locally! Here are the participating local businesses that are a part of this program where raffle cards are given to those who spend $50 or more. Prizes will be drawn next week, and the program concludes on January 10!  

Window Wonderland Voting Closes January 10 

Over the holidays, Downtown storefronts were transformed into a holiday spectacle with Window Wonderland! See the list of participating businesses here. Voting closes on January 10! 

Iglootown at Welltown Brewing 

Stay cozy while enjoying the Tulsa skyline from a heated igloo at Welltown Brewing’s rooftop retreat, Iglootown. This unique winter experience is perfect for friends, families, and even date nights! 

Tulsa Oilers Hockey & PBR at BOK Center! 

BOK Center has two featured sporting events this January: Tulsa Oilers Hockey & PBR. Be sure to catch elite hockey in action at a Tulsa Oilers game on January 16 & 17. Plus, the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PBR) bucks into the BOK Center on January 23 & 24. Bring the whole family for a special night out in Downtown Tulsa! 

Live Music throughout January 

Haven’t had a night out in a while? Visit some of Downtown’s favorite venues to listen to some incredible live music. Whether you want to dance or have a laid-back experience, there is something for every music lover in Downtown Tulsa. 

The Vanguard, Vintage Wine Bar, Cain’s Ballroom, The Hunt Club, New Story Brewing, and The Bend Mercantile will host both national and local artists throughout the month.
