Downtown Tulsa Partnership Announces New President & CEO

Downtown Tulsa Partnership announced today that the organization has found its new President & CEO, Kristina Scott.

Kristina Scott brings more than 20 years of experience strengthening communities through cross-sector collaboration to Downtown Tulsa Partnership. Throughout her career, she has led nonprofit organizations, advanced public policy initiatives, and championed economic opportunity in communities across the country. Scott is known for setting bold strategies, aligning stakeholders, and delivering measurable results in complex environments.  

Most recently, Scott served as Vice President of Strategy at the Downtown Dayton Partnership, where she helped shape Dayton's urban vision and led downtown activation efforts surrounding the 2025 NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Her leadership brought together civic, business, and community partners to boost downtown's economy and culture. 

Prior to joining the Downtown Dayton Partnership, Scott held executive leadership roles with United Way of Greater Cincinnati, Learn to Earn Dayton, and Alabama Possible, where she secured major public investments and led statewide collaborations that created lasting community impact. Earlier in her career, she served as Managing Attorney in the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, helping develop innovative public-private partnerships and community initiatives.  

Kristina holds a Juris Doctor with distinction from Emory University School of Law and a B.A. in history from the University of Florida. Her work has earned statewide recognition for civic leadership and systems change. “Downtown Tulsa is entering an exciting next chapter, and I am honored that the Board asked me to help steward this work,” said Kristina Scott. “You can feel momentum building through the investment, creativity, and alignment among partners committed to a strong and vibrant urban core. I look forward to working alongside the community to accelerate the impact already underway.”

Since January 2026, Emily Scott, who serves as DTP's Vice President of Urban Development, has been serving as the Interim President & CEO of the organization. During this time, Emily Scott has led the organization, continuing to manage public infrastructure projects, coordinate Downtown's part in Safe Move Tulsa, and help promote Downtown Tulsa to all who work, visit, and reside. 

DTP is excited for this new chapter in the organization under Kristina Scott's leadership. Scott will serve as the organization’s President & CEO effective August 24, 2026.
