Step inside one of Oklahoma’s most storied educational institutions on this tour of Booker T. Washington High School, the pride of the great southwest!
The guided tour will begin in the current building that was completed in 2003 in the Contemporary Institutional style with Modernist Influence. Featured highlights include the auditorium, library media center, and swimming pool, one of only three active pools in TPS schools. Next, see inside the Nathan E. Harris Field House that opened in 2012. Finally, explore the Historic Building where the tour will conclude with time to explore the gallery displays at your own pace. It is an opportunity to reflect on the people, stories, and milestones that define this remarkable institution.
