Enjoy performances from the following musicians:
• June 8, Shelby Eicher. A National Fiddler Hall of Fame member, composer, teacher and recording artist, Eicher has played the fiddle since the age of 5 and has recorded with musicians Roy Clark and J.J. Cale. He performs across Tulsa with the Tulsa Playboys and occasionally with his son, Nathan Eicher.
• June 22, Donald Ryan. A renowned pianist, Ryan has delighted audiences throughout the world, including at Carnegie Hall. He has the unique distinction of receiving both a diploma and special award at the International Frederic Chopin Competition in Warsaw, Poland (1975), as well as having been inducted into the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame (2006).
• July 6, Connie Cronley and Anna Norberg. Cronley and pianist Norberg will present “Fireflies and Fireworks,” a summer program of piano and poetry, lighthearted and romantic, featuring music from Debussy to Cole Porter, including “Clair de Lune" and “The Ladies in Lavender,” and playful verse from “Archy and Mehitabel” to “The Pussycat's Tea Party.” The program also features pyrotechnical poetry by Gerard Manley Hopkins and the comic murder ballad “Miss Otis Regrets.”
• July 20, Lorelei Barton. A renowned harpist, Barton’s extensive repertoire includes classical, Latin, Broadway, pop/jazz and holiday music. She's performed with Tulsa Philharmonic, Tulsa Symphony, Oklahoma City Symphony, Bartlesville Symphony, Arkansas Symphony and others. A teacher as well as a performer, Barton not only plays but engages with her audiences on how the harp works and takes questions.
