Refill your own cup at the Community Care Providers Support Circle on Friday, May 8, at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center. Meeting from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, this group is specifically designed for the "helpers" in our community therapists, social workers, healthcare professionals, and activists who dedicate their lives to supporting others. The work of caregiving and advocacy can often lead to compassion fatigue and burnout, especially within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This support circle provides a confidential, peer-led space to process the emotional demands of the field, share self-care strategies, and find mutual understanding among colleagues. It is an essential opportunity to step away from the role of the provider and receive the same empathy and support you give to others every day.
