Get ready for a summer of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on fun at Camp Guthrie! Join us every Wednesday in July at 10 a.m. for this FREE series designed to engage kids through interactive learning. Each week, we will explore a new topic led by local community partners. The session kicks off with an educational experience, followed by a hands-on activity that encourages kids to learn by doing.

Camp Guthrie wraps up for the summer with Camp-A-Palooza on August 1, a fun-filled celebration you won't want to miss!

This week's theme is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and the activity is "Float Your Boat: Build, Test, Redesign."

Kids will build a boat using foil, clay, and craft sticks. We will see how many objects it can hold before it sinks. After that, they get to redesign and try again to beat their own record. It's hands-on, a little competitive, and teaches that failure is just part of figuring things out.

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
