Get ready for a summer of curiosity, creativity, and hands-on fun at Camp Guthrie! Join us every Wednesday in July at 10 a.m. for this FREE series designed to engage kids through interactive learning. Each week, we will explore a new topic led by local community partners. The session kicks off with an educational experience, followed by a hands-on activity that encourages kids to learn by doing.
Camp Guthrie wraps up for the summer with Camp-A-Palooza on August 1, a fun-filled celebration you won't want to miss!
This week's theme is art, and the activity is "Make Some Noise: A Musical Petting Zoo."
Kids will rotate through a variety of stations featuring different instruments, such as drums, tambourines, egg shakers, and more. No lessons, no pressure, just exploration and making noise. The goal is to show that music is for everyone, not just kids who take lessons.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
