We are so excited to once again take part in Bookstore Romance Day, happening all day at indie bookstores across the country on Saturday, August 15.
At Magic City Books, we'll have discounts, exclusives, authors, and more! Keep reading to see our full schedule of events and stop by the store that day to discover more fun surprises and romantic goodies.
ALL DAY: Our romance and romantasy titles will be discounted 10% off in store (Round Table Members save 20%)!
Blind Date with a [Romance] Book will be available for sale, while supplies last. We wrap up the books and the only clues you have to their content is their trope and their setting, so you CAN'T judge these books by their covers ;)
12:00pm-2:00pm: It's a local author takeover! Stop by the store in the early afternoon to meet local romance authors Kalan Lloyd Chapman, Kristin Hamblin, and Xara Kenley! Grab a copy of their books and get them signed, chat about the genre, and maybe get a new rec or two.
3:00pm: Local romance authors Erin Branscom, KL Jones, and Sara Sweeney will have a fun chat about the romance genre and answer your questions as well. Of course, they'll also have their books for sale and will sign after the discussion.
5:00pm: We'll have romance-themed coloring pages if you'd like to take a break from the heat and chill for a bit. You can also bring your own craft if you just want to hang!
