You can expect to see different species on each tour. As temperatures fall, varieties of sparrows will return to Green-Wood to overwinter, including chipping sparrows, fox sparrows, and dark-eyed juncos. Many blackbirds, flycatchers, vireos, and swallows will stop over in our trees as well. During the latter half of fall, we may spot some vagrant species uncommon in the northeast, like the rare ash-throated flycatcher.
